Some good train songs and videos of some great model railroad layouts <BGSOUND src="./images/e60.wav">

Smokey Mountain Trains - Bryson, NCDon't tell anyone he said he spends 40 hours a week on his hobby
Worlds Largest Train LayoutThe incomparable Glenn Miller Orchestra (with Tex Beneke,Paula Kelly and the Modernaires on vocals), - Chattanooga Choo Choo. From the movie Sun Valley Serenade" (1941). Very first Gold Record(1 million sales) ever. No.1 song in America on December 7, 1941. By the way, the NMRA headquarters is located in Chattanooga, Tn.
Boxcar Willie - Walbash CannonballCity of New Orleans - Willie Nelson
Maybe the "ultimate" train song. Written by the late Steve Goodman. Steve died young (Leukemia) and besides City of New Orleans is best known for writing the country western song (and bar sing-a-long) "You Never Even Called Me By Name". Trains were not his first love, that went to baseball and his beloved Chicago Cubs. Shortly before his death, he wrote and performed his own "eulogy" - A Dying Cubs Fan's Last Request at Wrigley Field
